I am an artist and engineer from a remote town in the Alps, located on the German - Austrian border. Through writings, algorithms, protocols, sound and motion I demystify the systems that structure the world we live in. My practice makes the layers of invisible analog and digital transformations that surround us accessible and tangible. I wonder how new spontaneity can grow out of those binding constructs? Born in 1985, my work is based on my history as a human growing in to a world that got more and more replaced by an engineered and designed one. I work in Brooklyn, NY and Salzburg, Austria.
